When the Casting just "Isn't Right"

Acting is one of those nuanced professions where performances resonate differently among audience members. Even the most skilled actors run into roadblocks on how to approach certain roles, especially ones with some level of history attached to them. An actor or actress can clearly put on a good show and give it their all, but sometimes it just might not work. Perhaps the interpretation of the role did not gel with audiences' perspectives. Perhaps the performer in question did not fit the image audiences carried. No matter the reason, it seems that the casting did not fit.

Whether you thing the actor or actress in question put on a good performance or not, here's the score for today:

1. What are some examples of character(s) in media who, despite the effort (or lack thereof) from the performer, came off as miscast to you? Why?

Gallowglass in discovery of witches he didn't seem viking-y and blonde i thiught his actor would be more suited to phillipe...
