Strength replaced Tackle on all those Pokemon, and I was too lazy to teach them something else when I got to Lilycove... Kind of silly, but that's why
Well, that and the fact that I commonly switch those Pokemon out for HM Slaves, none of which have Strength. It makes the move more usable.
And it's a powerful move.
