What Would You Do if ZD Ceased to Exist?

Well, I'd be pretty disappointed, because I only just got here. It's nice to have a place where I can talk without Zelda without feeling like everyone else is thinking "Dude, nobody cares".

Since this isn't the only Zelda forum around, I'd probably head over to a different one for all of my Zelda-related needs. Or try to get into the fandom on Tumblr, though my first attempt there wasn't very successful (I mesh with that site like... peanut butter and sardines. It just doesn't handle discussion in a way that works for me). Alas, Livejournal is dead, so there's no hope there.

Or maybe I'd turn my attention back to other series that I like, and throw myself face-first into it.

Haha, I'd probably still type out 'ya dig' and 'mm qimme dat' and other mannerisms from ZD, and my IRL friends would be like 'Wtf are you typing...' and then I'd get nostalgic and cry :cry:

Really though, the silence would get pretty strange and deafening. I remember how much I used time I used to just spend alone before ZD, reading or riding my bike or whatever. I still like time to myself, but the company, and talking to people is nice. Talking to random people online has been a quite so very interesting experience, something I'd never done before. You really learn a lot, get opened up to the world and learn about different environments, ways of living, beliefs and views. :yes:

If the site shut down, I'd get mad, but maybe join Serebii and talk to everyone on Skype. Let's be honest, even removing one site wouldnt make me any more productive lol.

If it never existed, then I'd probably still be the angry loner I was for nearly a decade. This site honestly changed me, and while it has indirectly contributed to stresses (i.e. my February stresses, the mid-Novemeber breakup), it also expanded my views and made me a better debater. While I may have been able to develop elsewhere, I wouldn't willingly trade this for anything.

No, I meant it as have it gone forever, you know, non-existent at all. Errors apply to all sites, and some go down only to come back again, but I meant it as have this lovely place be gone forever. I would truly be sad, probably wouldn't even visit other places, unless I really miss those few of you I've taken a liking to.

Of course I'd miss the good memories of this place, but to be honest, the bad memories outweigh the good ones. So, I wouldn't be upset at all.
