Majora's Mask What Were Them After when They Invaded Romani Ranch?

If you have ever faild to defend the ranch or wasnt there and "They" kidnapd the cows and Romani. The cows ever return but at dawn Romani does. I never understood why would they return her. My theory is that they thought if they took Romani and the cows people would be to suspicous and they would never be able to return.

Another one that I think they did it is they brain washed her maby hoping they could control her some way. Other then that I cant think of a reason other then that why they would let her go.

But If you have a theory or opinion on this and have some evedence then please let me know because it is a strange subject even if you dont have much because I just made my theory on this. Oh one more thing do you think they will return?

1.There probably was a specific reason they were only abducting cows and a human probably couldn't fill that role.

2. Romani said they come every year.

What Cel-Shaded Deku was trying to say is that they didn't want Romani in the first place and they needed the cows to abduct the year after (they wouldn't buy new cows EVERY year, and the aliens know that).

Well, they only take the cows from the ranch on normal occassions.

Pardon me for theorizing, but they must take everything in a set "radius", which is why they accidentally kidnapped Romani along with the cows. She didn't ever attempt to defend the cows until then, so wasn't ever inside the barn until that moment. They returned Romani after they realized "lolwut is this thing on our ship?" "I dunno, but erase her memory, lest she expose our secret"

NOW! They're obviously going for the cows. Cows are known to produce two things: Meat and Milk. Perhaps they require nourishment because their planet is a barren wasteland where the resources have been picked clean.

Or Nintendo thought that they'd allow our imaginations to fill in the blanks, so there really is no answer to said question.

I Pick nintendo logic. Most of these threads can be answered by that, and we just complicate it for our selves. However, I hate that answer. Time for me to complicate it for myself. And by that, i mean that I agree with Zenox.

i have a looooong theory. you know that random cow, in a CAVE, UNDER IKANA (i still find that VERY WEIRD)??????and how people say they have seen garo sightings at romani ranch???well why dident THEY steal that cow?that is if they are the garos, but at the same time, the garo sightings could have been the gorman brothers,but at another time, the gorman brothers never really SET FOOT on romani ranch.they stayed at the gorman track and waited.(if you ask me, i think THEY look like big poes....)
well back to the random cow...in a CAVE..!..the way romani was talking in the game sounded like she knew THEY where coming long before link even came to help.like a couple of YEARS before.but befor that she never LOST HER MEMORY and the cows where given back.or did she like,get new cows every year???but i think if they where the garos, they would know about the cow soooo....that PROVES they are NOT THE GAROS...(well that answers a diffrent question....i guess...)....
ANYWAY, NOW FOR THE COMPLETE ANSWER!!!THEY took romani and wiped her memory clean because she was begining to know to much, and she was telling TOO MANY PEOPLE. and if they let her go for another time, on that one strange time of year where the moon has a face (...and looks so sad...)word could have gotten out. it would be to dangerous for THEM to let her go any longer knowing the truth.
so no, THEY did not take her memory to take control of her, but to just protect themselfs. they mean well!all they wanted was cows!
as for ROMANI, she was accidentaly picked up.

Then why is this the first year she helped? What stopped hr all those other years she knew? She must have seen it a year beforehand and decided to stop it this year.

Could it be that it was only because of Majorathat the moon had a face? that could be why pople were nervous about the world ending.

The cow was there so you could get milk for one of the Gibdos.
