As my species doesn't understand the concept of funerals, this question is not relevant to me. Nevertheless, it fascinates me how humans create such an event around their deaths. What is the purpose? Once cannot say goodbye to those who have already departed. And why do human's place such importance on what they want in their own memorial when they won't be around to see it? Perhaps this is better suited as a Mature Discussion topic.
I will have no funeral, thus no music. When I die my carcass will feed other sea creatures, and the grand cycle will continue. My form being nothing more than a prop in the stage of life. The show will go on.
