General Zelda What Parts Do You Dread?

It's almost inevitable that we have at least one part in a game which you dread in every playthrough; whether it's a boss battle, a puzzle, an entire dungeon or a necessary side-quest. You don't have to necessarily hate it, but it frustrates you and as soon as it starts, you wish it were over.

In OOt, I very creatively always dread the Water Temple and it's boss, Morpha.
In MM I dread the Great Bay Temple and worst of all, GYORG, who waits at the end of it all.
In TP, I dread the Lakebed Temple. And escorting Ilia to Kakariko Village. And the City in the Sky.
In SS, I dread the second and third Imprisoned fights.

Are there any parts in Zelda which always apprehends you?

Actually, there are some parts I am loath to do in Zelda games. The great bay temple is probably the worst for me, though I didn't mind the boss. Also, I have always been kind of scared of the Ikana region in MM, even though I've read the guide and know what's there already. Perhaps most shamefully, the closer I get to Ganon in any Zelda game, the more likely I am to stop playing. I don't know if its because those fights are always really long and I over-identify with Link and so stress way too much about dying, or if I just don't want the game to be over. However, after the marathon last week I've decided to try and finish all the Zelda games I have and the ones I get before next year's marathon. This includes LoZ, LA, OOT, MM, WW, SS, TP, ST and PH. Depending, I will also add FSA, OOS and OOA. Needless to say, I'll be playing so much Zelda that I shouldn't have time to be concerned with trifles like Ganondorf. :)

I really don't enjoy being a kid in oot. The Deku tree is a load of fun, but after that it just kind of gets monotonous. Eventually I just want to skip being a kid and just be an adult.

Anything with a ReDead, ever.

Now for specifics:
OoT: Shadow Temple. Hate, hate, hate it. Way too creepy for me...
MM: Every time the Skull Kid laughs, I just cringe. Perfectly done. Although I despise the Goht part when you go to the moon...... I die at least 50 times every time.
TP: the whole game. :right:

LoZ: getting the red ring(because it's located nearer to the end of the game)
LA(ZII): entire game
ALttp: the woods in the dark world
LA(/LADX): upgrading sword
OoT: I always miss one key(a different one each round played) in the water temple.
MM: Collecting fairies
OoS: getting the boomerang
OoA: figuring-out where the trade-quest leads
WW: those triforce pieces
TP: the yetis' mansion; the fact that(what I've been told to be the hardest final boss with his phases) I beat the final boss, along with his phase, in under 32 minutes on my first try, without losing enough hearts to replenish.
MC: getting through the beginning and the first dungeon
SS: going through the whole, lengthy beginning, getting what seems like nowhere for over an hour.

There is nothing I dread more than having to escort Telma, Ilia and Prince Ralis from Hyrule Castle Town to Kakariko Village in Twilight Princess.

It's hard enough not being able to see at night. But having to put out the fire on the wagon should it light, fight all the monsters and shoot the aerial ones out of the sky is just plain torture.

Aww, really? I absolutely LOVE that portion of Twilight Princess! It's my favorite story-quest as well as my favorite event! I mean, you don't get much more heroic than saving your wouldbe girlfriend's sickly friend, right?

I enjoyed it too! It was one of the most epic parts of the game, aside from the boss battles, even though they were incredibly easy. In what other Zelda game do you go horseback riding while fighting off hordes of enemies, swinging your sword wildly, shooting arrows like Legolas, and trying to protect and escort people (including your loved one)? That's one of the only few parts that stuck with me once I beat the game.

But yeah, here's my list:

LoZ - The fact that all key locations are hidden and very hard to find when first playing this game. I didn't even know what I was doing half the time and aimlessly walking around.

AoL - Crazy difficult.

ALttP - None, love that game.

LA - I played it once a very long time ago, and barely remember anything. I remember not being to fond of the game any way
OoS - None

OoA - Never went all the way through with this game, so can't say.

OoT - Kaepora Gaebora. Everytime you'd try to skip everything he says, you'd accidentally press "say it again" since it's the default answer. That, and Lord Jabu Jabu's stomach. I hated trying to escort and rescue Princess Ruto, she was such a brat and a pain in the butt. I would say Water Temple as well since it was so long and boring, but Dark Link saved that dungeon since the fight with him is one of my favorite parts of the game..so epic.

MM - Collecting the fairies, waiting for a specific quest event to occur, and trying to 100% the game cause that took forever! Surprisingly I like the Great Bay Temple/area, it actually challenged me unlike most temples in the 3D games.

WW - Tingle. Other than him, I absolutely LOVED the game, even the Triforce Quest. I just hated that we had to pay so much money to the annoying wannabe fairy man.

MC - Unfortunately never had the chance to finish it all the way.

TP - Zant's boss battle. Most disappointing thing ever. I HATE him and how his character developed into the most pathetic character in gaming history. I also didn't like the Twilight Temple. It was boring for the most part.

PH - Haven't played it yet. Got it a month ago so going to start on it eventually.

ST - Don't have it.

SS - Only played first few hours so far... It's alright. Introduction is way to long though; however, I must admit, its not really captivating like previous installments. Guess I need to give it more of a chance though and play throughout the entire game.
