Skyward Sword What Music from Skyward Sword is Your Favorite?

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who really liked the music from SS. So I wanted to know what everyone else's favorite music from SS is. My favorites are the three Goddess Songs, Farore's Courage, Nayru's Wisdom, and Din's Power. They were just awesome pieces of music.

I really enjoyed Ballad of the Goddess myself, but I really really really enjoyed listening to the music when you talk to Zelda and Gaepora right away at the beginning where Zelda is throwing a fit and worrying about you. That music nearly gave me chills because it was so beautiful along with the views of skyloft during the music. I am only 1/3rd or so through the game, so hopefully more music comes!

I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH!!! Its a very emotionally charged sounding song and when you think of the Story that surrounds the Lanayru Sand Sea, it really is.

Ahhh another emotionally charged song. This one has got to be one of my very favorite songs evar. Such an amazing song for it's situation.

Absolutely love this song!!! It's one of my favorite Zelda Songs to date, so fun yet adventuress sounding!

I'm a sucker for romance songs, and this one captured my heart immediately, love it to death!!

Keep in mind I didn't do these in any particular order so this isn't the order I'd place my favorites in ranking.

Ballad of the goddess is just awesome, it conveys the adventurous atmoshere I expect to see when I play Zelda. Then there's Farore's Courage. The only thing I dislike about this song is the misleading name, this does not in anyway instill courage in me, but rather I feel giddy. I enjoy this for the change of pace, the beat and the overall atmosphere of it. And then you have the song of the Goddess which I enjoy for tradition's sake as well as it's execution. Cinematic moments tend to stick with me.

Here's a fun fact about the Ballad of the Goddess. Play it backwards and it sounds like Zelda's Lullaby.

I think all of the music in SS is pretty great and if Fi didn't yell at me every five seconds it would be one of my favorite soundscapes from the Zelda series. I especially like the Eldin Volcano music and the mogma theme, though; both have a great atmospheric feel and capture the whimsy of Zelda perfectly without being too comical.

I know what you mean. I hate it when she bugs me about my Wii Remote getting close to dying. If she were real, I'd want to say to her, I already know it's going to die, you don't need to remind me.

There's no way I can choose a favorite. Nearly every song from Skyward Sword is fantastic, as it's one of the greatest soundtracks in video game history. However, I do find myself gravitating towards the overworld themes, so I'm going to say all of those.

I liked any of the songs that Fi sang along to(I just like her voice really).

 

[Green Hat Hero]

Fi's Theme and all its variations and the Moldarach/Koloktos battle music are great. I also love every theme in Lanayru Desert, especially the Mining Facility, Sand Sea, and Sandship themes. The battle music when fighting Demise is insanely epic and awesome as well. I also love the opening score that plays as the backdrop for the cave painting story.

If I had to pick a favorite track in the game, it would be the Staff Roll, followed by The Ballad of the Goddess.

Skyward Sword also features probably my favorite rendition of Zelda's Lullaby to date.
