Played bowling in the game today, never played before and it was fun
We also found an Xbox too, so that's neat
Just being me. Stepping back and realizing how blessed I am, just running some errands and thinking about my friends both off and online, my hobbies and interests and car, I'm just in a great mood today.
Well since I ended up not eating dinner yesterday I went to my fave local burger place and got a double cheeseburger, fries, and a strawberry shake! It was yummy and made me happy!
In addition, I got a call today that both of my glasses were ready to pick up today, so I got those finally!

it’s crazy how much the weather affects my mood. perfect spring weather today, and I’m super cheery despite having a killer migraine.
Something about having handmade cookies in the oven is just so uplifting.
Seeing some longtime friends again
I had my first poster session at a scientific conference today. It was all on Zoom, so a little less pressure. I had a great time and the people there asked some good questions. I just wish the time was a little better for me, haha. It started at 4 AM. Now I'm going back to sleep. Over the next few weeks, I'll be preparing for my first in-person scientific conference presentation at Purdue at the end of July.
