Saw the parents yesterday for a bbq and kicked their butt in karaoke. One of the stray cats I feed is sunbathing in the back looking all cute. I feel like I can go into work tomorrow and hopefully nothing goes wrong.

I got Back to ZD
Had a 4th of July cookout with an old childhood friend, saw his family again for the first time in 18 years! They were back in the neighborhood and invited me over. We had a great time.
I got to eat jellyfish salad, sea cucumbers, abalones, scallops, meat and shrimp skewers, gyoza, ribs, and lobster! Best 4th of July I've ever had.

Having someone call me a friend! That and my Midna fandom not being treated like the black plague. XD
Today I booked in a Great Barrier Reef day trip including scuba diving, an actual dive (for a beginner since I’ve not done one before), a helmet dive, glass bottom boat rides, and around 5 hours in total on a pontoon in the outer reef. There is an option to have a helicopter ride too but we will see how we feel on the day for that part.
Totally a bucket list item to go diving in the Great Barrier Reef so I’m super excited for it.
