What Legend of Zelda Game Had The Best Soundtrack?

The 25th anniversary CD, or OoT. Specifically because of Gerudo Valley

This one is really easy for me. Without a doubt, The Wind Waker had the best soundtrack of all the Zeldas. I even consider Wind Waker's soundtrack as one of my all-time favorite music compilations.

Skyward Sword, the music was orchestrated really well and added a more epic feel to the game.

Originally Wind Waker had my favorite soundtrack, but now I can't decide, because Skyward Swords soundtrack was breath taking.

Twilight Princess is my favorite. Midna's Lament is the best!! OoT is a close second. Gotta love Song of Storms!!

I would have to say Wind Waker, and yes for nostalgia reasons, but that's most people's answer too.
Also I love that people steal my signature thing (Red = this and Black = this), it means that I made a good signature. =D

Definately Skyward Sword! The songs just get stuck inside your head and just make the overall experience a lot better

Well, this can certainly be a difficult thing to answer, particularly for people like me who can be a bit indecisive about such things. But I have to say, I believe that Spirit Tracks would have had my favorite soundtrack overall. I recall that all the while through my first play through of the game, I kept stopping just to turn up the volume and experience that music for a few minutes before continuing on. To be honest, that happens with others, too, I just recall doing it more often with Spirit Tracks. I just quite simply... love it. It has a tendency to make its way into my head when I'm doing tasks around the house and such, too.

It's just that the thing is, so much Zelda music is so good, and so different while all feeling distinctly "Zelda". They all have their own identities formed through their music, and it can be hard to choose one over the other. I suppose the Spirit Tracks soundtrack just sticks out more strongly as a whole than others do in my mind. However, the more I think about it, I do believe that Skyward Sword is creeping up on me now, in this area. It had such a seriously grand and sort of expansive, large feel to it. Honestly I just love them all!

As a whole, The Wind Waker has the best Zelda sound-track of the entire series, and arguably, the best sound track of any game (IMO). The Wind Waker is the game that made me start paying attention to video game music. The Wind Waker's sounds are masterpieces.

I've never been so moved by video game music in my life.
