What is your opinion on American Cheese?

It’s alright in burgers where it’s often disguised by other things and flavours. I still think calling it “cheese” is a stretch though. It is essentially plastic. England, France, Holland and Italy, the real cheese countries, are crying.

It's plasticky crap. These days, I either buy other sliced cheeses or I buy a big block and cut a piece.

Only in burgers. And that’s just because I have used to have american cheese on burgers. Otherwise its taste is bad. Like Vanessa said, Swiss cheese is good. But best cheese I’ve tasted was in Austria in a little mountain village. Though I think the surroundings and feeling of being abroad tasting good cheese had an effect on taste.

My fiance loves the stuff. I prefer a good sharp cheddar or pepper jack.

Mozzarella made either with goat or buffalo milk is pretty damn tasty though.
