A fairly simple question, I guess. What video game genre would you consider to be your favorite?
For me personally, I'd lean towards saying RPGs as a general term, including tactical RPGs like Fire Emblem, JRPGs like Trails, and ARPGs or ARPG-lites like Rune Factory. The stories and characters in games like those I mentioned do so much to keep me engaged, along with the gameplay itself. Trails in particular is a series I can easily recommend for how grounded and relatable its story and characters are, despite the fantasy elements.
