A Smash Bros game where the Zelda characters return to their portion of the World of Trophies... And have to deal with another crisis since Trophy Hyrule is besieged by an evil again, however this is a new evil that seeks the Triforce to bend the entire World of Trophies to its will?
Zelda characters from across the series are on the roster, with MANY "Echo-Fighters" that represent each major incarnation of Link and Zelda, which depending on the incarnation, will result in a heavily modified moveset
(SS Link can charge and release Skyward Strikes among a few other special changes. TP Link uses his Crossbow instead of a regular bow and has the wrecking ball. OoT Link can use his Megaton Hammer for a slow yet plowing move similar to Villager's shovel attack. You get the idea.)
The roster includes Zelda characters from all of the games, the items are changed to that of Zelda Equivilents (Smash Ball replaced with a Divine Pearl. Basically the pearl shifts to that of Din, Farore, or Nayru's depending on who gets it), new plus old maps from the franchise, and a new Mii Fighter type being the Mii Mage who specializes in magic attacks similar to Zelda's ranged attacks.
A fun twist would be adding in NEW incarnations of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf for the game that star in the storymode as the main cast, with this Link referred to as "The Hero of Trophies" once the game is done.
We could see the likes of Link, Young Link, Toon Link, Sheik, Zelda, and Ganondorf joined by Sprite Link, Toon Zelda, Tetra, Phantom Zelda, Tingle, Impa, Vaati, Skull Kid, Linkle, Midna, Midna & Wolf Link, Zant, Daruk, Mipha, Saria, Shadow Link, Ganon, Ghirahim, Demise, and Linebeck be playable characters; while other cast members are now Assist Trophies such as Four Swords Links or Bokoblins.
Could make for an interesting start to a smash mini-series where each major Nintendo franchise gets their own Smash game where they deal with issues within their own regions of the World of Trophies. Imagine a Mario, Starfox, Metroid, or Pokemon Smash spinoffs that would allow for fans to get all the characters they want in Smash one way or another.
And THEN when the next actual Smash game releases, Nintendo could take the data of these smaller mini-smash games to make the roster more balanced in the next major smash title.
