What era do you think the past in Oracle of Ages takes place?

In the split timeline, I would say that the 400 years of past OoA takes place around the time Ganon got into the Sacred Realm in the first place during Ocarina of Time, assuming that Ocarina of Time dictates the events of Ganondorf Dragmire "randomly" coming upon the Sacred Realm with his group of thieves and then getting stuck there. Ocarina of Time can also be read as the Imprisoning War itself, meaning that either there were 400 years between the Imprisoning War and Present OoA or that Past OoA takes place before the Imprisoning War and therefore before Ocarina of Time. Because Jabu Jabu resides in Labrynna that whole time, I would think that OoA takes place after Ocarina of Time and therefore after the Imprisoning War/Ganondorf's first entry into the Sacred Realm, depending on how you read the timeline. This would explain Jabu Jabu's absence during the future sections of Ocarina of Time: after Ganondorf took over, he got the hell out of Hyrule and went to Labrynna with some Zora, and maybe some Gorons, before Volvagia started tormenting them.

Stop now, unrelated below:

In the linear timeline, which is already overly headcanon already, Veran goes back in time and unseals Ganon from the Four Sword between dungeons 4 and 6, where she is absent from Oracle of Ages. He then goes on to find the Sacred Realm entry point. (the one in the desert region of A Link to the Past, if anyone is wondering.)

All of this occurs roughly 300 years before the Imprisoning War which takes place 100 years before ALttP/Oracle era. Jabu Jabu, a descendant of Jabun, resides in what used to be the western part of the Great Sea which is now Labrynna.
