I think it would be awesome if gannondorf turned into gannon at the last battle. The game should have a secondary bad guy like zant. That is assuming gannondorf is the main boss.;)

Some people have liked to separate Ganon and Ganondorf as two separate entities. This trend began with OoT calling the humanoid character Ganondorf but when he transformed the boss fight titles identified him as Ganon. After that people liking Ganondorf and not the blue pig of previous games wanted to have some extra form of separation between the two. The oracles and FSA naming the blue pig form Ganon did not help things. But I still take the two to be the same person, but it does help in conversation. When Ganondorf is used it means the Gerudo, and when Ganon is used it means a blue anthropomorphic pig.

But what I typically expect from Ganondorf is for him to be the greatest threat to Hyrule, over all the other villains of the series. Since he was the original villain and uses the power of the creators of the world the story takes place in, he should be the greatest and most threatening. While I do like the other villains like Vaati, Veran, and Zant, Ganondorf should still be the big event character that truly represents impending doom to all that live in Hyrule and the rest of the world around it. Any story involving him should also involve the triforce, the dark world, and those chosen by the gods to play out the events of the legend.

I definitely want him to be a deeper character than simply a villain for the hero to rescue a princess from. ALTTP established him as the ancient threat that had to be completely sealed off from the reality Link lives in and forgotten. OoT showed us that he was a treacherous, backstabbing, criminal that was willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals. He was motivated by greed and was perfectly capable of threatening and cursing deities to get what he wants. WW took this much further and game him more real world motivations and desires. He said he coveted the more peaceful and habitable lands of the Hylians over his harsh and deadly desert. While under a noble pretext, he was still motivated by his want of what others have and his constant desire of more. More power, land, wealth, and followers. WW also established him as something even the gods were slightly threatened by the existence of. Even if it meant the destruction of the very kingdom that he attacked, that was acceptable if it meant his defeat as well. And even then it still did not work, the other deities Jabu Jabu, Valoo, and the Deku Tree were powerless to stop his weakened form.

So I expect Ganondorf to be considered by all the hylians to be not really an individual, but a force of nature that can and will destroy all in his path in his greed and ambition. He will have very personal motivations that sent him on his path for power but the incredible amount of corruption that power provided transformed him into the great beast (the Maou) Ganon. That should be the large pig form, the true form of Ganondorf after his corruption from the power of the triforce. This should be the ultimate version of Ganondorf Link has to face each time they meet.

This thread's meaning seems to be somewhat vague. It could be directed toward Skyward Sword if Ganon is in the game or how you want Ganondorf/Ganon to act in future Zelda games. I'll go with the latter.

I would prefer Ganondorf to actually be more of a villian. How many times has Ganon actually tried to stop you during your quest before you reach the area he's in? Never. Zant did. Vatti did. I think even Veran did, but I'm a bit foggy on the Oracles. You'd think that something who has the Triforce of Power would at least be ale to use his magic to possess a couple ememies or bosses to try and prevent Link from stopping his plans. I mean it's not like he's not a stranger to blondes with a triforce on their hand trying to kill him. Well, Ganon has enough sense to get one half of the problem, Zelda, but what about Link. Does Ganondorf just take one look at the kid and say, "A little boy wearing a dress trying to defeat me. Yeah right. Time to take a nap until he finds me," and waits for Link to come with the support of the goddesses, the Master Sword, Twenty heart containers, and quite an array of items. Not the best way to take over Hyrule.

Basically, I would expect Ganondorf to intervene in Link's quest to defeat him, instead of waiting until he's actually found.
