I'm sorry if this has been asked before or if there is already a post covering this, but I couldn't find anything about it. What do the Rupees that you get every time you post do? Is there an actual use for them or are just just for fun or something?

Hit the +Quote button on each post you want to reply to while reading a thread. When you get to the reply box, there'll be an "insert quotes" option. Click it and you can add what you've flagged one at a time or all at once.
