Mike is the security guard of 1 and 2 and 3 in 2 he took a fake name, and iirc Schmidt was the last name of that dude in 2, and the security guards of the first two games both got fired for the same reason in the games : Tampering with the animatronics and gets the same complaint bad smell, so yeah along with other stuff they're most likely the same dude
Of course this fnaf, everything is literally a theory except like some random things that pretty everyone just agreed were canon like Will is in the springlock suit which I'm pretty sure was 100% confirmed by Scott in some Dawko Interview
