"Thank you," Sinerra beamed, "I try to pull out my best for the festival. It is such an important time after all," she could tell that Liantha was a little nervous. She held back a giggle, "You look like you're from around here. Mind keeping me company for a little bit? I haven't been in the city for a few years now, and I don't want to be traveling around on my own at night, if you know what I mean."

 

[Pen]

Liantha smiled lightly. "Oh, so you're here all by yourself too? Yeah I'll be happy to keep you company. I'm actually from Ordon, but I come here to visit frequently. I know a really quaint little restaurant nearby where we could go if you're hungry."

 

[DekuNut]

Glancing down at her wallet, Sin gave a nod, "Sounds like a worthwhile evening. My treat. Can't be using you as an escort without a little bit of payment," she gave her new companion a wink, "Lead the way then!"

 

[Pen]

Liantha's light smile grew bigger. This girl was so nice! Before long they had arrived at the restaurant and gotten seats at a table for two. This restaurant usually wasn't super popular, but tonight it had more guests than Liantha had ever seen there at once before. After they sat down Liantha picked up the menu from the table and handed it to Sinerra.

"I already know what I'm having. They have this fabulous cucco and rice curry, and to drink I love their sweet hot milkshake." By now Liantha had gotten very relaxed and was thoroughly enjoying the moment.

 

[Storm]

Xander looked up at the night sky as he stood up from his place and walked down the street to a fast food restaurant, ordering a milkshake. as he walked back to the Park, he saw two women sitting at a park table playing a game.

 

[DekuNut]

Sin looked it up and down before deciding on a nice burger. She didn't need anything fancy tonight. The milkshakes looked nice, but... it was a festival night, "I'll also take a glass of wine with that, I think. Something red and dry."

 

[Pen]

After the waiter had taken both their orders Liantha leaned back in her chair. "You know, I was intrigued by the song you changed to at the end of your show. The one about the goddesses. Did you also see the peculiar comets in the sky?"

 

[Storm]

Xander approaches the women at the park with a bow
"Excuse me Ma'ams. I am Arbiter Xander and I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about the local area. I would appreciate any knowledge you could spare"

 

[Pen]

The old woman with dark grey hair and green eyes looks at the strange armoured man in silence. The old woman with white hair and red eyes replies to him however. "Very well young man, what specifically is it that you would like to know?" she asks him.

 

[Storm]

Xander says with a false confidence
"I was curious if you have seen any Nyads? i was told they had green hair and green eyes, and normally dressed in green. my research says they used to frequent around here"

 

[Pen]

"There's no such creatures here," says the green eyed lady with an irritated tone. "Feel free to skedaddle and be on your merry way."

"Donna, I am sure the man has no ill intent," says the red eyed lady. She turns to Xander. "You are only several hundred years too late. These 'nyads' which you speak of went extinct a long time ago."

 

[Storm]

Xander nods, jotting down this information into his Report
"Extinct you say? why would these Nyads go extinct? did some insect infect the flora around here?"

 

[DekuNut]

The waiter quickly returned with the wine and began pouring as the pair continued their chat, "Indeed. Red, blue and green.... the colors of the golden ones. I imagine it to be a sign from them.... a celebration of the end of the Calamity, I guess. Though I do not know why they chose this year of all years to send this sign, it was a moment worth cherishing," she leaned into the table, taking a long sip from her wine glass while keeping eye contact with Liantha, "What did you think of it?"

 

[Pen]

Liantha thought about it for a bit before speaking again. "Exactly. It's strange that we've never seen this before. And the comets seemed to fly awfully close, don't you think? I've only ever seen shooting stars far away in the distant cosmos before. It looked like these comets were heading south-west. What if they actually landed somewhere in the kingdom? I can't help but be very curious about it..."

"Hundreds of years ago a pandemic unlike any other stuck this kingdom and brought it to the brink of extinction", replied the red eyed lady. "Luckily most of the fauna survived - even though it was just barely - but sadly the Kokiri were wiped out completely back then. It truly was a great tragedy."

 

[Storm]

Xander's turns his head in confusion
"Ko... ki...ri... alright. thank you for your Cooperation, Maddam. Good day"
Xander walked back to the Deku Tree, and began his ascent up to the Branches of this wooden Behemoth.
