General Modern Wait What?

Last nite i was playing ocarina of time 3d and i was at dark link, i was fighting him, but i stab him twice and slashed him once and i defeated him. That was the fastest i ever killed him under 15 seconds. was it a glitch

A. How did you hurt him by stabbing? That cannot not work in the N64 version and I'm fairly certain that has not changed in the 3DS version.

B. How many hearts do you have? His health is proportional to yours. He can be defeated in three hits if you have three hearts.

Yep that would be it since you only have 3 hearts.
