Too Old to Play Zelda?

Can those words even be used together in a sentence? Anyone who says that has clearly never played any of the games before.

Gaming unfortunately still has a stigma of being ''for children''. It's a relatively new medium in comparison to film or writing and I'm sure with time society will eventually embrace it as it's own unique art form. Well, perhaps not as an art form as that is an entirely different debate, but at least recognize it's merits instead of demoting it to childrens toys.

If you born playing video games then you can play it for the rest of your life. You can never consider yourself old enough to do something.

I'm 16 and whenever I have told someone I play Zelda they tell me it's gay and tell me I'm too old for it. I've just stopped telling people I play Zelda because I know what they will say :(

Being too old to play Zelda is like being too old to play Pokemon. If you grew up with the series there's no way in hell you are too old for it ever. I expect to be 50 years old and still playing and playing beyond that age as well. For me it's not something you get too old for it's something that defined your childhood and sticks with you through everything...........like toy story

Idiots at school say I'm too idiotic and ******** to play COD and Halo, cuz I only play Zelda and Pokemon, Mario and old games or games with "crappy" graphics, (Minecraft) The kids I talk to are 5-12. Parentts are ******** to let 5 year olds play M games. Retards.

NO Nintendo game can ever be categorized as "too old for this" if you like having fun then just go ahead and do so, nobody should judge you for the things you like(unless it's like child porn or bestiality, in that case you can gtfo) I am still playing Nintendo games and I know I will even when I have kids and my kid's children have kids. nevar forget

I don't think anyone is ever to old for any game as long as they enjoy it! I'm 23 still playing Zelda I even enjoy games like harvest moon and animal crossing. I really like horse games even though they're pointed towards kids, but that's cuz I love horses and don't have any of my own. So I say, if you enjoy playing windwaker well then don't let what anyone says bother you, and play the game and have fun! :)

You're never too old to play video games. Anyone who's too old for fun is boring.
I'm 21 and I love video games, disney movies, toys... nothing wrong with being young at heart, it just makes you more fun and awesome :)

Some defensive people will tell you THERES NO AGE LIMIT!! but honestly, yeah some video games are meant for children like zelda, pokemon, or yugioh but some people (myself included) held onto these great series and still remember them and watch and play them even 10, 15 years later. The reality with this is, if you can forgive yourself for doing it, then do it. I know that probably sounds silly because why would you need to forgive yourself it's just playing a kids game. If that doesn't bother you then why ask if you're too old? The bottom line is don't let people tell you what to do. As long as you don't break the law or offend someone in any way, who cares? Do whatever you want!!

Me too, I think it's more about location, I live in a fairly rural town so all the nerds pretty much keep to themselves. But when someone who isn't a nerd has to interact with one of us they usually are a total prick and say stuff like what you mentioned.

You can never be to old to do something you like, if people think its weird for some reason its their problem, you should never let the kid inside you die because if you do you'll just be another boring tired of life grown up, just do what you like and what makes you happy.
