To Evolve Or Not?

i am in the process of obtaining one of every pokemon so i catch three of the basic pokemon evolve one all the way through and another once and the third not at all so i have each and every pokemon at my disposal. i still have a way to go, im at 482 total

If I ever use a Pikachu, I don't ever evolve into a Raichu. Mostly because of the Anime with Ash who never evolves his Pikachu.

The onlytime I've ever stopped a pokemon from evolving is when. Wanted an espeon but eevee started to evolve in to imbreon
