So who is the kid in TWW? Just some completely disassociated kid? I guess that's what they keep trying to say in the game... Just seems so strange that in that timeline there will never be an incarnation of Link, but plenty of boy heroes who look EXACTLY like him (TWW/PH, ST).
SPOILER ALERT*Well my theory is that there was ahero. The flood was not an incident, but a method of sealing a Ganon that had become far too powerful. This hero would never have been recognised as a hero because the land flooded and of course the people would be reeealy grateful for that.
We know from OoT that a male is born to the Gerudos every 100 years. This is Ganondorf. This also leads us to believe, with the help of SS's ending of Demise putting a curse on Hyrule "For as long as Hyrule is in existance, there will be reincarnations of Link, Zelda, and an Evil Force (Ganon/Ganondorf)", this leading me to believe that whenever ganondorf has respawned for his next 100 year term, Zelda and Link do too (maybe not at the same time, due to the age difference between Ganondorf and the 2 kids, but within the time for Ganondorf to be an adult, and the two to be within teenage years). But in the adult timeline, the time between OoT and TWW, it is not proven (but is speculated), isn't too big of a gap. Because of this, we are able to say that when Ganondorf was locked away in the silent realm he broke out soon later. Since it is the same Ganondorf, a new Link was not spawned, and Hyrule was flooded. This is important. You have to note, Ganondorf has the power to be imortal in time due to his dark magic. He would most likely do this to stay in power, probably not aware that a new Link and Zelda will be reincarnated. And when they are (Why a new ganondorf is not spawned with the spawning of a new Link and Zelda, I cannot explain, maybe because there was already a Ganondorf alive), Ganondorf is finally defeated, only to be reincarnetd within the next 100 year cycle. Well, I guess that's all, hopefully it isn't too scattered all over the place.
