Tech Help Titan Quest: Virtual Memory Must BE Enabled

I bought titan quest on the cd and installed it on my desktop. When I tried to open it, it says, fatal error virtual memory must be enabled. I am on a windows 8 laptop and I cannot find out why this is not working!

Have you tried enabling virtual memory?

Well I don't know how....I've searched virtual memory, settings.txt, etc. to try and find whatever I need, but its not working...

Change the size of virtual memory

Thanks Ill go find out how much virtual memory Titan Quest needs and Ill try it out.

If I can recall correctly, you need to set your Virtual Memory to a bit larger than your Physical Memory (RAM). Don't make it too large, though, since it actually uses up your HDD space.
