Tears of the Kingdom this rivals some of the worst games i've ever played; and i'm a life-long zelda fan

All the exploring! Now there are caves and caves within caves and wells
Same here! I love it in this game. Even more so than I did in BotW. There's so much in the sky and the depths. All the worldbuilding is crazy. I've never wanted to engage with it as much as I have in TotK.

things to build
Right? I'm a pretty creative person, but some of the things I've seen are pretty cool. Do you do some of the crazy stuff? I using still to basic practical things. My one frustration is after fusing a certain amount of things, they start disappearing. Found that out the hard way when I was trying to build an even more intricate house than what's offered,

They were definitely intimidating at first, but so were Lynels. I love that the more difficult bosses have different attacks from each other, so they offer their own set of challenges.

I love descending under the castle, the music leading up the final battle, which is easy but I repeat it for the music and the dragons.
I'm looking forward to doing that again on my current playthrough. While I love the music, for me, it's more so about the architecture of what's down there.

Since it was BOTW 2, I didn’t care for finding all the armor again, probably my biggest “Really?”
I hear ya on that. I think they could've at least changed up the designs of them. I'm still going for them all though. It's interesting to get more lore around them. Which were some of your favorite sets?

I didn’t mind the sameness of towers and shrines.
Me either. There's enough difference in how they were constructed and what they do that I can appreciate them

I liked the grind of collecting 100% and I’m still not done upgrading all my armor, collecting stars ain’t fun!
As much as I like exploring, I don't care about getting 100 percent. Besides, I just use the duplicate glitch to make upgrading easier

All my armor is upgraded except for the Wild, Time, Wind, Twilight and Sky.
I usually wear the diamond circlet, champion’s leathers with the fierce deity boots.
My favorite thing I’ve made is a flying baby dragon skeleton!

Lol that's an interesting set up. I go with the hylian hood (down), archaic tunic (purple or red) and hylian trousers (black)

Nice! I've seen that done a couple times on youtube. Mine was a house with the addition Zonai metal shrine blocks
