The Playstation 5 could look like this. A render / rumour. Most people think it's a dev kit. I just removed the obnoxious website branding so we can get a better look at it.

It doesn't look bad, but it looks clunky. I feel like this design belongs sometime back during the 6th or 7th gen.

That's just a 3D rendering that was drafted from the official patents put under Sony's name. The overall design isn't as smooth as its predecessor, but the bulky spaceship build should facilitate cooling and performance for the higher gaming capacity. Even now, there could be changes underway to make it sleeker and more like a standard console than a cumbersome PC, but we have no idea if the design is finalized or production is even underway.

Also, it's ironic that the "dev kits in the office" guy got his account axed after saying that. I doubt that Sony has the pull to cause that to happen, but either way the poor guy is probably in some hot water for breaching NDA.

Correct. That's why I think it's just the PS5 dev kit. As we both know dev kits oftendo look very different from the final retail model.
