I just had a chat with Vivec and their answers to me at points made me think they did, but then at other points they deny it, like when I outright asked them if they did. There are also conflicting histories about what happened at the battle of Red Mountain, it's all a bit confusing...

So just got done with the resurrection of Frieza arc in Dragonball Super, and was thinking, how did Frieza manage to train and power up to be almost on par with Super Saiyan Blue in a short timeframe? His power up in this one was his Golden Frieza form, and his previous form could only match Super Saiyan level. I feel like if anything he'd power up and only be about as strong as Super Saiyan 2, maybe 3, but not anywhere close to Super Saiyan God or beyond. I suppose Goku was just holding back a lot because when Vegeta laid into Frieza the Golden form wasn't close at all. Frieza was weakened by Goku before, though.

I had to stop and honestly try to recall what year it was. It felt as if I'd fallen back into the late 90s.
