a sentiment i have seen lately from what seems to be a large amount of autistic people on the internet is that they often find anyone more autistic than them insufferable
it confuses me because i also see a lot of autistic people lament how unfair it is that some non-autistic people find them inherently annoying, but i guess they're fine with perpetuating the same behavior?
is this a real phenomenon or did i drink the terminally online poweraid by believing people actually think that way?

Sometimes it comes down to self awareness or lack of it rather
I've learned that there are an infinite variety of people out there and that some people just can't get along. It doesn't mean either's behavior is inappropriate or anything. They just don't gel and that causes friction which causes everyone involved to seem more insufferable than they would be around other people, or across different media
I believe what you're seeing is real, just that the reality might be a bit more nuanced than lack of self awareness in some cases

Continuing with the trend of me feeling very dumb, I just now came to the realization that the Minish from Minish Cap is probably a play on the word "diminish". If so, that'd explain why they're also called the Picori bc that'd be their original name then Ninty of America would've just been like "Okay but imagine if they were Minish? Like di-minish? Because you get smaller? Eh?"

its crazy how it started all that fuss for nothing tho
This weekend is a long weekend and I am very much looking forward to driving out tomorrow to visit my grandma. It's been over a year since she had a stroke and I haven't seen her since just before that so I want to make sure to get a good visit in as soon as I can. Didn't have many chances last year.
