Yay me!!
I'm happy with Min Min. She has some good variety with being able to use kicks in addition to punches. The reveal trailer was great. Captain Falcon got his ramen! Can't wait to play Min Min next week.

Min Min looks cool, but I fear I'm not big-brained enough to play her. Particularly changing her ARMS. Her gimmick is super neat though and I look forward to all the neat stuff that can be done with her when taken advantage of.

A Treehouse presentation is scheduled for tomorrow that will showcase Paper Mario and the Origami King, but there'll also be a reveal 'of a franchise new to WayForward'
The wording of the WayForward reveal strikes me as odd, 'a franchise new to WayForward and not, 'a new franchise from WayForward'.
Could we be seeing a Cadence of Hyrule situation where Nintendo have allowed a third party indie company to make a game based on a Nintendo owned IP?

That's definitely an interesting way of wording things. WayForward has done some excellent work, particularly on Shantae, so I wonder what franchise they'll be working on. I could see something Zelda related as Zelda is supposedly an annual franchise now and I doubt BotW2 will be this year's game. But it could also be a curve ball like a 2D Metroid. We'll see.

I would love to see a new 2D Metroid game. While I didn't love Samus Returns, I think a new game in a style similar to that would work really well.
