Breath of the Wild The Legend of Zelda: Earthbound?

Ok, so one of my friends keeps saying that Zelda WiiU is called Earthbound, as a tribute to the seires Earthbound. If its not much trouble, could someone please confirm or deny this, and if possible a name for Zelda WiiU, either one you made up or an announced one. Thank you!

Sorry to say this, but your friend is not telling the truth. No official name has been announced for Zelda Wii U, and I doubt they'd name a game after a series that it shares nothing with.

Untrue. More likely, it is possible that he wants to see Young Link, Ness and Lucas together as one team in a completely different game (SSB4 or something else). Actually, I would like to see the same. But don't expect true Zelda/EarthBound crossover as a part of main Zelda series.
