SINCE Twilight Princess's release everyone started to complain about the world size and how there was not alot in it but this brings me a question-wht about Zelda II's Hyrule? That too was overly large and had little in it.Which one do you think is bigger and more baren?

I think Zelda 2 trumps TP in terms of overworld (ignoring death mountain- that was just sadistic game design) because of the town system. In a way Zelda 2 has more in it than almost any Zelda game if you look at it that way. The only game with more places to go was Wind Waker I think. Twilight Princess managed to seem to have a more barren overworld than even Ocarina of Time despite being released 8 years later because everything is pointlessly spread out. I do see a parallel between Zelda 2 and TP in that both overworlds are a chore to get around in. In that respect Zelda 2 is worse because TP let you warp eventually.

Also your title confused me because I thought for sure you'd be talking about Wind Waker. I think that has the largest overworld but it's better than Twilight Princess's by a lot because there are many more places to go and explore.

Zelda: Twilight Princess's overworld was pretty damn massive, I remember spending hours running around that world.

Even when there's nothing to do, I have always enjoyed riding on Epona around the massive overworld Twilight Princess had.
Zelda II's overworld was just BORING. I did not enjoy running into enemies every 5 seconds.
