The Kokiri (Can They Die from Ageing)

The way I see it is that they die when, like, their tree dies. Like, they're connected to the trees in the forest, and they die when certain trees die. Hence why they live so long and why there were so few of them seven years after the Deku Tree's death.

I think that the Greak Deku Tree only turned the Kikwi into Kokiri so that Link could grow up among people who looked like him. I think that in reality, the Kikwi/Kokiri/Koroks are plant spirits who usually take the form of some sort of seed. Granted, they are only in three games, but if they only became Human-like during the events of Ocarina of Time and until the Great Flood, then they existed as seed beings for much, much longer.

well, it all depends. if they stay in there forest, then they dont age, so they cant die from aging. but if they left the forest, i think they could die from age.
