After the traing he went to deford gym and made a challange. After it was acepted he finshed it cleanly on hit against each at just the right moment. Torchic doged a seismic toss sainding it flying spinning to the ground with scartch. Meditite was constntly attacking this song more complex then what was hered at rusburgh with eevee easily dogging its attacks with a extremly sour note that caused all but eevee and will to flinch. Eevee used takedown smashing it in to the wall. Finally brawly sent out Macohita. His ralts befor the fight evolved in to a kirlia. "Intresting match this one wont go down as easily. " It used belly drum imidetly brawly used a super potion then an x speed."Not many have seen my last resort you deserve this" will's fingers moved quicker and quicker just to keep up with macohita's speed.*he used his one poition per fight he must be serious* with each punch macohita threw he time for will slowed down(not relly just his mind working fast) he played a cord causeing kirlia to use duble team. Then followed with a cord caueing kirlia to use confusion and spin into macohita knocking it out.

Menin smirked. Perfect idea. She put a fake Toxic Orb she had made just in case right next to a camera while invisible, phased through the door, and watched through the window.

When Menin had left,thunder had improvised and went in.
"Growlithe,smokescreens."
The camera could not see him switch the toxic orbs.
"Lets go."
He called out pikachu,who used flash at the next cameras, and eevee used quick attack to speed by the cameras to get to the next thing he saw. Somethin that could help him.
"Alright...I got the toxxic orb and this light plate too!"
He ran out. But the light plate he took was menins fake one.(this way it wont work and then something could happen!)

Menin, while in the tree, overheard some loiterers talking about a graveyard recently established in the forest, and that at midnight, ghosts could be seen there. Menin froze. A ghost...just like...
Still transparent, she snuck to the graveyard. This is it...where it happened... She then became completely visible and went inside.

Phillip finally arrived in Striaton and made a beeline for the gym. Having a Grass type, she was set to face Chili. He sent out a Lillipup, which was easily destroyed by Cottonee's Mega Drain. Chili then sent out Pansear, who was paralyzed and slowed by Cottonee's Stun Spore and Cotton Spore, but who then took Cottonee down with a well placed Incinerate.
"Get 'im, Spheal!" Phillip exclaimed. " Use Aqua Tail!"
Spheal spiraled a torrent of water down it's tail and slammed it into Pansear. Pansear fainted! Phillip has won the Gym Badge!
Walking to Nacrene after visiting the Pokemon Center, Phillip found a Sun Stone. Cottonee evolves into Whimsicott!
EDIT: Phillip arrived in Nacrene to find that the gym had unfortunately been closed, as the leader, Lenora, had decided to take some time off. Phillip continued through to Castelia, with it's breathtaking skyscrapers and beautiful view of the ocean. Phillip decided to search for a Ground type to the north before taking on Burgh...
Further edit: after procuring a Sandile, Phillip challenged Burgh to a one on one fight. Burgh sent out Dwebble.
"Go, Sandile!" Phillip yelled!
"Ha!" said Burgh. "Sandile is weak to bug type moves!"
"But Dwebble is weak to steel moves!"
"wh-what!?"
"Sandile! Iron Tail!"
In one swift movement, Sandile leapt across the battlefield and slammed his iron-hard tail into Dwebble's shell. Phillip got her second badge!
Now to sail to Virbank!
After reaching Virbank City, Phillip realized that Roxie's Pokemon were weaker than Burgh's! Phillip mopped the floor with them and proceeded back to Castelia and on to Nimbasa.

Since Thunder was in Azeala Town and had not yet beat the gym,he decided to try.
He stepped in.
