(Sorry about the lack of post guys! I have been extremely busy!)

"Uh..." Purist was taken aback by his response. "It is something I must do if I want to become a Paladin of my order. I am currently an acolyte." Purist awkwardly brought his hand to his forehead. "I was trying to see about traveling some place, but I don't have enough money!" Purist chuckled. "Seems I will have to resort to walking!"

((I should be the one apologizing, guys. I haven't been able to do Aren justice lately, but that's no reason to delay for this long. So... sorry about this. Fortunately, I had a burst of creative genius today. To be honest, that's the way Aren should be played--running on creative genius like a warrior runs on adrenaline.))

Several hours before then, Aren had actually intended to go to where his fellow Chosens were and train. Hopefully he would have been able to find something lighter to fight with than his typical longsword. But fortune did not smile upon him that day. Or rather, Nayru was being rude. Very rude.

Val would find Aren stumbling half-blind around his house, which seemed about three times messier than usual, screeching like he was having a prolonged argument between his oaths. One of his hands was clutching his head, very nearly tearing his hair out from the migraine. It was just his luck that Nayru would slap him in the face with a thousand predictions at once, especially when he was almost out of paper and canvas. He sometimes thought that she tormented him just for the fun of it. Granted, it was pretty damn amusing to see a person that typically seemed so dignified running around his home like an angry cucco, more paint-splattered than usual. Through his shirt, the mark on his shoulder glowed a blindingly bright shade of blue.

Azalea had gone to check on Aren, reaching his house before most, the roofs were a lot faster than the streets. She stood watching Aren, looking very worried and wanting to help so much, it would be useless though. She sighed and slide down and looked in his window, wanting to call out and calm him, give him paper or something. She sighs and looks at him, the goddess are cruel to their chosen are they not.... She sighs and looks at him worry only.

"Payment?" Purist's ears perked up at this, but his manners got the best of them. "I cannot accept that. But a journey would be more than welcome." Purist then motioned to the Hammer on his shoulder. "And of course I can fight. I may be an acolyte but I have my fair share of combat experience... Where is this journey going to?"

"Why can't you accept payment? It'll find your pilgrimage. And we're going to the uncharted part of Lanayru." He explains, excitement in his eyes.

Val finds herself sitting on a bench outside the training ground gates. She breathes quite heavily and shivers. She rubs her arms. She had just suddenly been overcome with a feeling that the the journey through Lanayru was going to be met with pain of some kind, some kind of tragedy. She wondered if Farore was warning her somehow.

"No courage without fear," she sighed. This happened from time to time, thankfully, not often. However, she knew that this kind of feeling signified something serious, something to be wary of.

"Lanayru?" Purist chuckled. "My teacher has mentioned that place a few times. I have never been there before. Why on earth would you go there?" Purist smirked.

For a brief moment, when Val knocks, the noises stop. Shortly after she finishes, heavy stumbling and muttered swearing moves closer to the door, which is opened by an Aren that appears considerably less sane than usual. He responds to her questions a little too quickly. "No. Nothing's happened. I'm fine. Thank you. Give me two days--no, ****--two hours. One. What?"

He stops himself, realizing several things: One, he sounds and probably looks like a complete madman. Two, Nayru is apparently content now, since all that lingers of the overwhelming presence is a burning sensation behind his eyes and on his left shoulder. Three, he's still a terrible liar.

"... Come in." he relents meekly, stepping aside to further expose his disaster of a living room. Paint and ink is everywhere, torn papers and split canvases littering the ground. There are a few paintbrushes stabbed into the wall somehow, the bristles still dripping an alarmingly blood-red paint.

"What in the Dark World happened here?" Val choked out, shaking slightly. Without warning, she grabbed Aren and hugged him close. She forgot about how close his chin came to her chest. She stroked his back.

"Nayru took you over last night, didn't she?" the young knight asked. "The same thing happened with Raenis and Din this morning at the Training Grounds. I've been feelin'... a bit uneasy, but you know Farore, she leaves me alone unless I really need her. You can tell me what happened. I won't press you to train today. Let's sit down."

Aza smiled sadly and climbed ontop of a nearby roof and watched the place. she will never be like those two. Never have anyone close to her, she is the shadows and the night...She wasn't special or gifted. She was heb specialist, that was it. She sighs and looks at the two Chosen in the house, sad and jealous.

Aren let out a startled yelp when Val hugged him, then slowly rose his hands to return it. "I... okay," he responded reluctantly. He knew how important it was to train as much as possible before the expedition, and definitely didn't want to miss a precious day. But... Val wouldn't exactly let him on his feet until he could actually stand without shaking and going pale. That and she did have a point--he shouldn't be doing much of anything, Nayru's presence had only just left.

He pulled back from the hug and stumbled towards an overturned chair, which he shakily pulled up. He'd have insisted that Val take that one and found another one had his knees not suddenly bucked beneath him. He went down with a cry of surprise, clinging to the back of the chair.
