Have you ever wondered what the average Moblin's diet looks like? While Moblins do have a reputation for eating Hylians, they are actually omnivores and enjoy a wide variety of both fresh and prepared food. Today, we'll be taking a look at one of many recipes enjoyed by Moblins in any timeline. Feel free to follow along at home!

Sauteed Broccoli
Supplies:
Frying Pan
(Optional) Deep Fryer
Rubber Spatula or Turner

Ingredients:
2 liters Peanut Oil or substitute
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 cup broccoli

Pour the peanut oil into a deep skillet or deep fryer. If using a deep fryer, set to 355° F.
Once heated, deep dry the broccoli for 5-10 minutes or until desired firmness is achieved (longer=softer).
In the meantime, pour the soy sauce into a small frying pan and begin heating on medium-low heat. The broccoli will slowly absorb the soy sauce, leaving you with a rich flavor. You can keep track of how much soy sauce is being absorbed, because the broccoli will drain water back into the pan. Continue until you're satisfied with the amount of soy sauce absorbed. Stay tuned for step-by-step pictures of my own attempt at this recipe!

Moblin Fries

For this recipe, gravy is optional. You can use either precut frozen fries or make your own fresh.
Supplies:
2 Frying Pans
1 pot for gravy
Cutting Board
Plastic Turner
Kitchen Knife
Oven-safe dish
(Optional) deep fryer

Ingredients:
Bacon
1 bag french fries
2 Jalapeno peppers, diced
1 cup fritos nacho cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/4 onion, diced
1/4 cup mushrooms, diced
(Optional)
2 cans beef broth
1 can chicken broth
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp onion powder
Peanut Oil

First, preheat the oven to 350°F. Start heating the broth in a pot if making gravy. In a separate frying pan, start cooking 5-8 strips of bacon. Heat up the deep fryer if using. Dice the onions, mushrooms, and jalapenos. Begin frying the vegetables in the second frying pan. When the bacon is done, remove it from the pan, shaking the grease back into the pan, and place it onto the cutting board. Dice. If not using deep fryer, begin frying the french fries in bacon grease. Otherwise, put french fries in fryer and put bacon bits and vegetables in bacon grease and fry.

Once the fries are fully cooked, remove and place in an oven-safe dish. Pour the mixed vegetables and bacon bits into the dish and stir into the fries. Pour the sour cream and nacho cheese on top of fries, then put in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the nacho cheese texture solidifies slightly.

(Optional) melt the butter in the microwave then pour it and the flour into the broth. Stir well continually, adding onion powder once the flour is dissolved. Keep stirring until the gravy boils, then bring to a simmer. When the fries are done in the oven, the gravy can be poured on top or kept on the side to pour onto individual servings. Enjoy!
