Four Swords Adventures Storyline Change

Recently, me and my friend were talking about Four Swords Adventures, and he mentioned the storyline seemed out of place. Being the Zelda geek I am, I then looked up some information about the game. Turns out, it was originally supposed to explain the Imprisoning War. I was wondering what you guys think of this, and if you have any ideas of why they changed it. Personally, I think that they couldn't do the Imprisoning War without leaving a lot of plot holes, and the developers realized that.

Yeah, I learned about this recently. I think it's because they realized that with the way they were going about the game, the Seal War wouldn't have worked properly.
