The reason why the beef and diary production efficiency is so low here is due to the fact that hindus worship cow (they literally drink cow piss, google it) and sikhism and buddhism prohibits eating meat in general. While pork is banned in muslim countries, it should be noted that India is neither a hindu nor a sikh country. It is a secular country with a high population of hindus and sikhs. Therefore forcing the majority's beliefs on minorities is unjust.

Beef is legal in only a few leftist states like Kerala and WB. The beef produced here is exported to other states. However muslims couldn't eat that meat because it is not butchered according to halal.
Tbh, the muslim and Dalit minorities aren't happy with this rule at all.

That is why the statistics show 1:10 ratio I guess. Due to the black market.
