Same here. It's not a bad sale. It's just that I've been using Steam since 2009 and I'm used to it.
(a) I already have many of the games that are on sale
(b) I've learned to control my impulsive spending
(c) I know I don't have time to play the games even if I had the money
(d) I'm focusing on beating the games I already have first
(e) next-gen consoles are out. they're my focus now.
I've been buying tonnes of stuff! God damnit Steam, every year!
The Summer and Winter sales are when I buy all those games I wasn't too sure on, so I always end up with a big haul and hope for a few hidden gems inside there, and also pick up DLC to replay games, since DLC is a nice way to refresh an experience to me. Will be giving Sleeping Dogs and Dishonored another run soon since I picked up all the DLC in sales. Despite the big hauls, this image still rings true for me:
I keep trying to play Splinter Cell: Blacklist, but... damn you Dota 2.
I ended up playing with a giant group of games, but the sale overall left me feeling like I didn't really want anything else. It almost felt like a chore to spend the last $11. Regardless, I really can't complain. I've been enjoying every single game I bought, and I managed my money better than ever before. I bought about 30 games, and I'd say there's only one (Year Walk) that I'm iffy on.
Here's the list of games I bought.

At this point, I'm noticing that the same games end up going on sale, so I don't know how many more games I'll end up picking up next sale. A lot of the sales also that steep - Transistor being 25% as a Daily Deal wasn't a steal in the least bit.
I didn't get anything because I don't have a gaming computer, but I'm so glad I don't. XD Looking through all the sales, I'd be wasting so much money. xD
Nom! Not as big as other years but still a lot. Held off on a few games, next year they'll probably go ~75% off and I'll get them then. I showed restraint, during the Steam Sale!! So proud of myself.
Snapped up a lot of DLC too so not only do I have tonnes of new games to add to my existing backlog of games I need to play, but I also need to re-play all the games I picked up the DLC for. I have loads of games on my Steam Account and I don't think I've played even half because I keep piling them on cos they go so damn cheap! Damn you Gabe!
I bought a decent amount of games this year, actually.
I got:
BattleBlock Theater
Bioshock Infinite
Castle Crashers
Defy Gravity
Skyrim
Final Fantasy VIII
Guacamelee! Gold Edition
Marlow Briggs
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+
Super House of Dead Ninjas
I had $4 in my steam wallet from selling drops I received in CSGO. I broke and bought the Witcher 2 on the last day for $4. Although I did end up buying a game, I didn't have to spend a penny of my own money this time around.
This year was my first Steam sale! Mainly picked up some games I've been wanting for a while, with a few impulse buys. Here's my haul:
Battleblock Theater
Castle Crashers(and its DLC)
Skyrim
Final Fantasy VII/VIII
Garry's Mod(Been wanting this one a while)
MGR: Revengeance(one of those purchases where idfk if my computer can even handle. butheyitsafungame.)
Rayman Legends
Sims 3/Pets
Spore
I got Monaco and really my friend gifted it to me. I didn't have money to buy any games and I didn't know the sale was on til like the last couple days.
