I would appreciate if you would give links to your favorites out of these. It's kinda the point of the thread. Share your passions/feelings through music!

I may have to come back and edit this when the old computer with my biggest iTunes library has a working power cord and I can check the purchase dates. Until then, I'll have to go by season, rather than month.

January - March:

I was a couple games into the Zelda series, but was just beginning to explore the wonders of its soundtracks.

Twilight Princess soundtrack
Hyrule Symphony soundtrack

April - June:

I believe I had my Spanish soundtrack in my car by this point. Including...

La Camisa Negra
Cuando Los Sapos Bailen Flamenco
Baila Mi Corazón
Todo Tiende
Corazón Espinado

July - September:

Back to Zelda. I've played a few more games, and my soundtracks reflect this.

Majora's Mask Orchestrations
soundtrack (doesn't autoplay)
Zelda Reorchestrations (links to their "Listen" page)

In my car, I have CDs by Jewel and Sarah McLachlan, and I'm also back to Spanish again, as I have a compilation album of Shakira's Spanish hits and another CD by Juanes.

October - December:

I'm playing a new game. I'm sure you couldn't tell by my choice of soundtrack. XD I also have new CDs in my car.

Okami soundtrack
Sara Barailles
Charlotte Sometimes (warning: links to a playlist and one song is more explicit than the others)

*looks up* I rembembered more than I thought, though there are still a lot of singles that stuck out to me that I can't place right now.

Wow. There are so many huge songs that totally defined this year. For me, one of the biggest bands has to be Biffy Clyro. They are my favourite band and made a huge comeback after X-Factor winner Matt Cardle released a remake of their song Many of Horror. This song is filled with feeling and is generally a great song! My other favourites from Biffy are The Captain, God & Satan and the best song and video ever made (do watch) Mountains.

One of my favourite memories of this year is year 7 camp, it was so fun and whilst in the minibus throughout the trip was California Gurls. Everybody sang along and it was really fun and made us all happy and remember the fun moments of camp. Katy Perry then released Firework this song is great to sing and dance to and the video shows that everyone has a spark in them.

There were a few more songs that made 2010 a great year, such as: The Time (Black Eyed Peas. This song is a great remake of a slower song made into a dance craze that is great for everyone, despite WILL.I.AM's dreadful ability to rap live.

Yeah, it was a dry year for music wasn't it? :P

To be honest I rarely listen to music from this decade, let alone this year. My playlists tend to go - Beatles, the Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Stones - all the good stuff basically.

I guess I'll have to go with anything by the Libertines - just because of their reunion gigs at Reading/Leeds Festivals.

The only good "rockband" I can think of that was 2010 was Airbounre. They sound so much like AC/DC and they have good beats.
Heres the link to their 2010 singles

Blonde, Bad, and Beautiful http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ku2YavtBEww
No Way But the Hard Way http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DHHv5OuEzY&feature=channel
Bottom of the Well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uths4S2enj0&feature=channel

Thats the only good music that came out this year.
Now if you make a best 80's songs thread, tell me
