The article is right. The series is racist for all the reasons the writer mentioned. However he failed to mention another instance of racism in the series. The ReDeads, these are basically just designed to be black people and Nintendo made them attack by raping link. So blacks are rapists or thieves according to Nintendo.

Yes. I read them. Within every attempt at humour there is a little truth, so the saying goes. Why someone would even make a humourous article about this is beyond me.

To be honest some zelda games actually do show a racial superiority. Look at Ganondorf, he literally thought he was better than everyone else and he took over Hyrule based just on that. Also in some ways it might be a slight dig from nintendo to america showing how a group of people can destroy an entire world.

Not all Hylians have blonde hair and blue eyes.

The symbols in question meant different things before being adopted by hate groups such as the Nazis, or the Ku Klux Klan. For example, the Swastika was actually a symbol used 5,000 years before Hitler in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Janism. The three Triangles actually can be traced back to the Hojo Clan which exhisted between the 12th and 13th century in Japan. The cross has of course exhisted since the 1st century A.D.

There is no proof that the Hylians “force” the Gorons to live in the mountains, in fact the Gorons probably chose to live there because it just so happens their choice food is within the mountains (making them live outside the mountains against their will would be forcing them to live somewere they don't want to be). Futhermore, there is nothing which suggests the Zora are used as slaves to tend to Hyrule's water source. For all we know the Hylians took the time to channel the water toward Hyrule Castle Town, the Zora just swim in the water, that is all.

"zeldainformer.com"

don't even have to read the article.

"Link is a tree" was better.
