Spoiler Skyward Sword/ Vessel of Light Flower

Did anyone notice the flower on the top of the Vessel of Light when Link's in the Silent Realm? It drains slowly and refills whenever you get one of the tears. Perhaps this means we only have a certain time limit whenever in the Silent Realm before we get kicked out unless we get to the tears in time? Theories?

We already knew this. You have 90 seconds in between each tear and if you don't collect one, the guardians will wake up and chase you.

If those ghost-like things with the lanterns spot you, the time will expire immediately due to the Guardians being alerted, as well.
