Skyward Sword/Adventure of Link Theory(ies)

Hello fellow Zelda Fans,

This is for the Timeline theorists: I have speculated that Zelda I (from Skyward Sword) is the Zelda that Link has to awaken in Adventure of Link (Zelda II: The Adventure of Link)...

What are your thoughts regarding this?

I've always assumed that Zelda I was the daughter of Link and Zelda from Skyward Sword, as she would be the first Princess of Hyrule (Zelda from Skyward Sword would be the queen of Hyrule). But good theory!

I agree with this. It would be a nice touch if it was SS Zelda, but it seems unlikely, purely for the reason that the royal family can only be formed AFTER Zelda and Link move to the surface. Also, SS Zelda isn't a princess, for this exact reason. So I don't think it can be her.

What they said about the Royal Family. Also, the Triforce of Courage was hidden since around the time of the incident, and remained hidden until AoL. This definitively places the sleeping Zelda after LttP.
