SPOILERS READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So what'd you think of the ending for Safe House? It was kinda interesting huh? The way Matt Weston just looks at his girlfriend then leaves was weird. It wasn't really an ending. This would lead me to believe that there might be a sequel. Now that Matt has leaked the file congaing all the corrupt things the high CIA officials do he went on the run for the rest of his life ( or at least that's implied). But it's really interesting how in the beginning of the move, Matt was bent on keeping Tobin Frost in cuffs and handing him over to the CIA. But by the end of the movie he sees all the things that are wrong with his organization and turns. It was almost like he was possessed by Frost. Well not possessed but kind of guided by the spirit of him. You could almost compare it to Christ and his apostles because although Christ performed all those miracles and taught is phenomenal teachings, it was only after he died and went to heaven did his friends realize they have to spread the news about him to the world. Just when Frost dies Matt realizes that he is the keeper of the file. And just like Christ his friend/mentor/superior is dead. Now it is up to him to keep the file safe. And maybe pass it on to a new CIA officer? What are your thoughts on this?
