Hey guys! I was wondering if there were any Rush fans out there. I'm going to see them in May, and I was wondering, which Rush song is your favorite? Mine is definitely Subdivisions, because that's what actually got me into them.

Am I a Rush fan? When people say "Holy Trinity" I say "Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee, and Neil Peart." So yeah, I guess you could say I'm a Rush fan. Couldn't say my favorite songs. I mean, obviously I love all the classics - Fly by Night, YYZ, Limelight, Tom Sawyer, etc. - but I just like too much of their stuff to decide on one track.

Rush is my favorite band I have all of their albums and I saw them in October. Best concert ever. I don't have a favorite song so I'll name a few. Tom Sawyer, 2112, Xanadu, Subdivisions, Marathon, and The Spirit of Radio.

Hanyou

didn't build that
My favorite song is either 2112 (of course) or...

And it goes without saying that A Farewell to Kings, which is about as "metal" as Rush got, is my favorite of their albums, although their poppy, completely non-proggy Roll the Bones is a close second. I know that's not a popular opinion, but I can't help but love songs like the opener:

Roll the Bones is a consistent album from beginning to end, proof that a band can simplify its sound and still stay awesome.

Still, their prog stuff is, in general, my favorite material by Rush.

I've never heard that album, I'll definitely have to check it out though.
