Nintendo Rumors: Game Boy & GBC Games to be announced for NSO

Rumors are saying that Nintendo will be expanding their NSO library to include Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

We've had rumors of Nintendo expanding Switch Online to include GameBoy and GameBoy Color games since 2019. It seems like a logical step for them to eventually take, but the rollout of NES and SNES content has been so slow that I can't say I'm expecting it anytime soon.

If it's just GB and GBC, it would be rather disappointing when it would be virtually no extra effort at all to add GBA games as well. That said, adding legacy content is always welcome, regardless of what part of Nintendo's history it comes from.

I really hope they do this, especially if the rumors about them shutting down the Wii U eshop are true. I would really like to see GBA games as well, mostly just Minish Cap but maybe some other stuff too. I just enjoy playing random games, it's a good way to pass the time and also interesting.

I think it would be really nice to have Nintendo add all old consoles to NSO but I don't see that happening anytime soon and while this rumor sounds pretty neat until Nintendo announces it I'm not going to get my hopes up.

It seems you might have to wait till next year as Nintendo tends to update NSO once a year.
