But they DO have eyes. They clearly have black spots where the eyes go and in WW they have glowing red dots in those black spots. It's EXTREMELY clear that they have eyes. I don't the creators put those spots there with the intention of us saying "those can't be eyes"

I think they simply psychically sense link's life force because redeads and gibdos when latching onto link suck away his life force until he dies or he escapes.
