Tomb Raider (2013) 7.5/10

I remember really liking this when I first played it back in the day. It’s still really good just a bit short. It only took me like 7 hours to beat it. My only real gripe with the game is that I wish they leaned a bit more into the horror side of things. The plot is about being stranded on an island and something paranormal is keeping you there. Feel like it should be a survival horror game but instead it’s stealth action game. I know Tomb Raider isn’t a horror franchise but I felt like the gameplay didn’t make much sense with what the plot and setting was doing.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
I wasn’t a massive fan of Aria of Sorrow when I played it, so I wasn’t particularly excited going into its sequel. I still don’t care for the souls mechanic all too much, but the simple fact that the extra souls needed for the true ending required significantly less grinding for RNG drops alone make me like this one far more than its predecessor. I also found the game in general to be less tedious than either Symphony of the Night or Circle of the Moon. It’s definitely not beating out Harmony of Dissonance, but I still had fun with it.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX: 9/10. It's a blast playing through, endless fun with accepting jobs and going through random dungeons. Even after completing the post game, it's still fun to just do them, without needing a reward for doing so. Literally my only complaint is that the autosave is ridiculous. To the point where you can't even backtrack to before you used any input in the game at that point. But thankfully, the game is easy enough to where that is rarely an issue. Though I do recommend grinding before tackling anything in post game, after you beat the main story, but with proper planning, before post game that really isn't an issue. As for the story, It's 10 times better, than any main series Pokémon game. I highly recommend it to anyone who want to play a Pokémon game, but hates the monotony of the main series.
