Imo, being able to design your own character makes almost any game instantly 500 times better. Feel free to post here any characters you've designed for various games. I recently started up Fantasy Life, a game I haven't played in years, decided to make myself a carpenter this time-

though the first time I dabbled in a creator was in Tony Hawks Underground

I don't really have a character, per se, but I do usually use a similar design across character creators in games I play, like for my huntress in MHRise.

I change up names most times though, even if I keep the design the same or similiar.
