Imagine for a moment, that the unthinkable were to take place. I hate to even consider the idea but suppose tomorrow, without warning, Nintendo gets bought out by Sony who immediately proclaims that, while they will be maintaining the trademarks and copyrights on the Legend of Zelda, they will be discontinuing the series purely out of spite. What does this world look like? Do fans make games of their own? Do people forget about the series? Does the industry change drastically? Does ZDI fold?

Gaming sites and magazines mourn but move on.

For everyone aged between 6-40 who own Sony and Microsoft consoles nothing changes.
