Jingle jangle jingle! It's finally December, and as the frigid temperatures moderately cold rain sweeps over, it's time for the 2019 Pokémon Sword and Shield Winterfest tournament!

FORMAT: Double Elimination

PLATFORM: Pokémon Showdown

RULESET: Modified Gen 8 National Mode OU (Detailed below)

ALLOWED POKEMON: Any Pokémon that is at least partially Ice or Fairy or Grass or Ghost

BANNED POKEMON: Smogon Ubers, any Pokémon that is not primary or secondary Ice/Ghost/Grass/Fairy type, type changing abilities

• Because of balance concerns, Dynamax and Gigantimax will not be allowed for this tournament

Spoiler: Rationale

This largely has to do with the ability to Max out of Choice Scarf/Band/Specs which is in my opinion very unbalanced

Most of your skills would transfer over, the only thing new in this are a few Pokemon
