Slowbro gets the ability Shell Armor, which makes sense for the design but isn't very good in the competivive scene. UU at best.

Audion keeps the Healer ability. Healer. Of all things. 30% chance of curing an ally status condition in doubles or triples. Solid NU.

haha, Mega Slowbro looks absolutely humiliated for having to walk around wearing that giant shell.

I saw Slaking in those screenshots, and it makes me really want Slaking to gain a mega evo that loses the Truancy... That would be OP af, but totally awesome!

A new Pokémon trailer has been released that features a huge amount of information since the CoroCoro scans for this month have surfaced! In light of this past Friday's CoroCoro magazine scans featuring the new Mega Evolutions, The Pokémon Company has now localized all of the information and released it as the new trailer. Besides covering all of the information that was revealed through the magazine scans, new information was also shown throughout the trailer and has updated several details including the Shiny Beldum event and other neat details.

Mega Altaria:
When it Mega Evolves, Altaria's type changes, and it becomes a Dragon/Fairy Type Pokémon. It gains the Pixilate Ability, which makes all its Normal Type moves into Fairy Type moves upon usage. Its Attack and Special Attack stats will be receiving a big boost and its Defense will increase as well.

Mega Salamence:
When it Mega Evolves, its Defense stats soars to high numbers. With its already high stats now climbing even higher, Mega Salamence becomes an even more promising Pokémon in battle. It also gains the Aerilate Ability, whihcmakes all its Normal Type moves into Flying Type moves upon usage.

Mega Lopunny:
When it Mega Evolves, Lopunny's type changes, and it become a Normal/Fighting Type Pokémon. It gains the Scrappy Ability, allowing its Normal and Fighting Type moves to even hit Ghost Type Pokémon. Mega Lopunny's Attack gets a huge boost from Mega Evolution, and its already-high Speed also increases.

Contest Idol Lisia:
Lisia makes her debut into the Pokémon universe in OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire. She is the number one contest star in the Hoenn region. She performs with her Pokémon partner, an Altaria named Ali. She can also see the potential within you and your Pokémon. Although she is a contest prodigy, she also doesn't shy away from hard work and effort, which is where her true appeal lies. Judging from the fact she owns an Altaria, it would be safe to assume that she will be the one to give the player the Mega Stone for Altaria.

Cosplay Pikachu:
More information has been revealed about the Pikachu wearing these creative and unique costumes. As a matter of fact, this special Pikachu is a star Pokémon that is widely popular in the Pokémon Contest Spectaculars. It even goes by the name Cosplay Pikachu! It's heart-shaped mark on its tail is its signature feature, and it absolutely loves fashion. By dressing up in different costumes, it can steal the show of the contests in a variety of ways in order to achieve victory. After you have taken part in your first contest, you will be able to get this Cosplay Pikachu as part of your team. You can change Cosplay Pikachu's costumes at anytime in the green room at any of the Contest Halls in the Hoenn region. Do note that other Pikachu that you catch or obtain cannot dress up in these costumes. Only the Cosplay Pikachu that you receive at the Contest Hall can dress up in contests. When you enter a contest, the player will also have their clothes changed alongside their partner Pokémon. Players will be able to show-off their Pokémon's moves to try to appeal to the judges in order to win the contest!

The Cosplay Pikachu will gain a specific unique move depending on the costume it wears and can be used in battles against Trainers or wild Pokémon. Pikachu Rock Star will gain the move Meteor Mash to show-off her cool side. Pikachu Ph. D will demonstrate her clever side with the move Electric Terrain. Pikachu Pop Star will show her cute side by using the move Draining Kiss. Pikachu Belle will gracefully reveal her beautiful side by using Icicle Crash. Pikachu Libre will demonstrate her tough side by using the move Flying Press.

The Pokémon Contest Spectacular:
In OmegaRuby and Alpha Sapphire., players won't simply raise their Pokémon for battles. In Pokémon Contest Spectaculars, your Pokémon will be able to compete to see who has the most appeal against other Pokémon. During your adventure, you will meet Lisia, a contest star in the Hoenn region. She also happens to be the idol of the masses, commanding tremendous amounts of popularity across the Hoenn region. She is also a Contest Spectacular powerhouse who will scout the player to join in on the fun in competing in contests. There are five kinds of contest that you can choose to enter: Coolness, Beauty, Cuteness, Cleverness, and Toughness. Your Pokémon will be judged on its appeal based on one of the five categories. Simply choose a contest condition in which your Pokémon excels at, and enter it in one of the corresponding contests! Each category of contest is split into four ranks. From bottom to top ranks they are Normal Rank, Super Rank, Hyper Rank, and Master Rank. You will begin in Normal Rank, and should you win the contest, you will be able to challenged the next rank: Super Rank. Keep winning your way through the ranks while aiming for the top in Master Rank!

Pokéblocks will also be making its return since its last presence in Pokémon Emerald version. Pokéblocks are special snacks for Pokémon that you make using two to four Berries. The type of Pokéblock you make will all depend on the color and variety of the Berries that you choose upon mixing. When you give them to your Pokémon, their contest conditions will improve based on the type of Pokéblock they were fed. In order to decide which condition is the correct one to improve, start by considering what kind of contest you would like your Pokémon to be featured in. Once the contests begins, your Pokémon will be judge based on its appearance in the Introduction Round. A Pokémon will be more popular with the audience in this round if the player feeds their Pokémon the correct Pokéblocks prior to entering the contest. With the Pokéblock Kit that Lisia gives the player, you can check how many Berries and Pokéblocks you have, make new Pokéblock using your Berries, and give Pokéblocks to your Pokémon.

Horde Battles:
Horde Battles will be making a return in OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire. Horde Battles made its debut in Pokémon X & Y versions on October 2013. Whenever you encountered a horde of Pokémon, players battle against a set of five of the same Pokémon or four of the version exclusive Pokémon with one from the other respective exclusive Pokémon. Horde Battles not only was a great way to gain Exp. Points but was the fastest way to increase the EV points of one's Pokémon, allowing to gain 50-60 EV in one Horde Battle provided the player followed the correct procedure in order to do so. In OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire, Horde Encounters won't be limited to battling wild Pokémon. The can even occur when battling other Trainers. Players can face off against five Trainers at once in these thrilling battles!

Shiny Beldum Event:
As a special gift for players who purchase OmegaRuby or AlphaSapphire shortly after its global launch, a special Shiny Beldum holding a Mega Stone for Metagross will be available for download! By raising this Beldum, you will be able to evolvie all to way into a Shiny Metagross and Mega Evolve into a Shiny Mega Metagross! This is your chance to get a powerful Mega Pokémon and in its Shiny form nonetheless!

No... I can't believe that... I choose not to accept that they waste Megas on crappy Pokemon that are still gonna be crappy after they evolve and not using them on, oh, I don't know, OTHER STARTERS??? Or maybe other BA Pokemon like friggin Luxray or some crap. Mega Luxray would be my new favorite Pokemon of all time. Nobody gives a crap about Audino and giving her a Mega doesn't make us care... Sigh -_- Oh well
